Explore Lagos mainland and the island, visiting important markets, historical places, and some off-the-beaten-track paths.

Overnight at Omu Resort or Inagbe Beach Resort.
Leave very early and drive towards the historic town of Badagry, visiting the Abass Seriki Slave Museum, the first storey building in Nigeria, the Mobee Slave Museum of History, and the slave route.
From here, continue towards the Nigeria-Benin Republic border, known as the Seme border.
After immigration, drive towards Cotonou or Ouidah and check into your hotel.
Explore Benin's commercial capital, Cotonou, by visiting Babs Dock and also Ganvié, the stilt village that is home to about 39,000 inhabitants.
Indulge in bird watching, row on the lover's lane, and see the market on small boats.
Visit the Abomey Museum of Culture and History, then return to Ouidah to visit the Python Temple, Musée d'Histoire de Ouidah, and the Slave Route.
Overnight at Cassa del Papa, Mariella Hotel, or a hotel of your choice.
Leave Ouidah very early in the morning and continue to the Benin-Togo border.
After immigration, cross the border and drive to Agbodrafo to visit the Wood Home.
After this, take a boat to cross Lake Togoville and explore the town.
Leave Togoville and visit the fish market.
Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Visit the artisan market and the cathedral.
Head onward to the Togo-Ghana border.
After immigration, continue on a 3-hour drive to Accra, the capital of Ghana.
Stay overnight at a good hotel.
Leave Accra very early in the morning to visit the city of Cape Coast and Elmina.
At Cape Coast, visit Elmina Castle, Cape Coast Castle, and possibly Kakum Park.
Return to Accra.
Overnight at a good hotel.
