Description
Get away from your busy life for a week-long vacation in Sri Lanka and visit the Sigiriya Lion Rock. Itinerary

Day 1: Colombo - Pinnawala - Sigiriya
Get picked from Colombo International Airport and drive to Sigiriya.
En route, visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.
Overnight Stay at Sigiriya.

Day 2: Sigiriya - Minneriya National Park
After breakfast, climb the Sigiriya Lion Rock.
After lunch, go for a Jeep Safari at Minneriya National Park, where you can see over 50 wild elephants at once.
Overnight stay at Sigiriya.

Day 3: Dambulla - Kandy
After breakfast, drive to Kandy.
En route, visit Dambulla Cave Temple and, in the afternoon, see a traditional Cultural show.
In the evening, visit the Temple of Tooth Relic to see Holy Temple as evening falls, and the local Buddhists worship by bearing gifts of fruits to the shrine. You can see the lovely views over the lake and the city.
Overnight stay at Kandy.

Day 4: Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, drive to Nuwara Eliya.
En route, visit Kithulgala White Water Rafting.
See St. Clair's Falls and Devon Falls.
Overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya.

Day 5: Ella
After breakfast, take the train to Ella on the way and see some stunning views. Your Sri Lankan guide will pick you up from Ella Railway station and visit Mini Adam's Peak to see the sunset.
Overnight stay at Ella.

Day 6: Udawalawa National Park - Mirissa
After breakfast, drive to Mirissa.
En-route visit Rawana Falls and Buduruwagala Temple.
After lunch, go for a jeep safari at Udawalawa National Park where you can see elephants, crocodiles & many rare species of endemic birds.
Overnight stay at Mirissa.

Day 7: Galle - Colombo
After breakfast, drive to Colombo.
En-route, visit Galle Fort.
In Colombo, visit the oldest Parliament building & enjoy a lovely seaside walk to Galle face green.
Drop off at the hotel or airport.
