Day 01

Yangon City Highlights and Shwedagon Pagoda

  • Start the tour with hotel pick-up at 09:00 am and meet your Yangon tour guide.

  • Explore the city and visit many historical highlights, including colonial buildings constructed during British rule, Botataung Pagoda, Sule Pagoda, Mahabandoola Park, and Scott Market.

  • Visit and pay respect to the over-2600-year-old, world-famous Shwedagon Pagoda, known for its significant Buddhist Holy Relics.

  • Later, head to Karaweik Palace, on the eastern shore of Kandawgyi Lake in Yangon, to enjoy a beautiful Burmese cultural show. Please note that it closes at 08:30 pm.

  • Return to your hotel at 06:30 pm.

Day 02

Bago Ancient City and Sacred Landmarks

  • Start with hotel pick-up at 09:00 am.

  • Head towards Bago, which takes about an hour from Yangon.

  • Visit places such as Shwemawdaw Pagoda, the Kanbawzathadi Palace of King Bayint Naung, the Shwe Thalaung Reclining Buddha, and more if time permits, with your Bago tour guide.

  • Have lunch on the way and return to Yangon at 04:00 pm.
