Day 01

Bhaktapur Temples, Squares and Traditional Crafts

Start the tour after meeting your Bhaktapur tour guide and visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square. See the great courtyard with an awesome wooden Nepali pagoda-style temple and the 55-window palace, also a major attraction in the area.
Visit Taleju Temple and see the golden gate inside.
Later, head to Dattatraya Temple, which houses three major gods (Brahma, Vishnu & Shiva). Near the temple, there is a peacock window from the 15th century.
Next, visit the Nepali paper factory.
Head to Taumadi Square and see the gigantic temple of Siddhi Laxmi called Nyatapol and Bhairab Temple.
Finally, visit Pottery Square and try to make your own pottery product.
