The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival, Saqqara, Memphis, and the Giza Pyramids

Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, your Egyptologist guide will meet you at the airport.
From there, begin your full-day visit to Saqqara, 27 km southwest of Cairo, where you can explore the first and oldest complete stone building complex known in the history of humankind, built by Djoser during the Third Dynasty around 2700 BCE.
Then visit Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, where you will see a colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx of Queen Hatshepsut. This city dates back to 3100 BCE.
After that, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with a view of the Giza pyramids.
Continue to the Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx, the most famous monuments of the ancient world. These massive stone structures were built around 4,500 years ago on a rocky desert plateau close to the Nile and have always amazed visitors.
You will be transferred back to your hotel at the end of the tour.

Day 02

Egyptian Museum, Citadel, Khan el Khalili, and Departure

After breakfast at your stay, your guide will pick you up.
Head to the Egyptian Museum, which displays a rare collection of 5,000 years of art. More than 250,000 genuine artefacts are presented here, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen's treasures, gold, and jewellery, which were enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years.
After the museum, take a break for lunch at a local restaurant.
Continue to the outstanding Citadel of Saladin, a fortress built between 1176 and 1183 CE to protect Cairo from the Crusaders. You will also see the Mosque of Mohamed Ali, the founder of modern Egypt. His mosque is a Turkish-style mosque known as the Alabaster Mosque.
End your tour with a shopping stop at Khan el Khalili Bazaar. You cannot complete your visit to Cairo without stopping at Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the most famous and oldest bazaars in the Middle East.
Finally, you will be transferred back to Cairo International Airport.

Cairo highlights tour for two days and one night.
Children Policy:
- Children from 0 to 5.99 years: free
- Children from 6 to 11 years old: pay 50% of the adult rate when sharing a parent's room
There is a possibility of entering one of the pyramids from inside, visiting the Solar Boat of King Cheops, riding a camel around the Giza pyramids, riding a quad bike in the vast desert, visiting the Mummies Room at the Egyptian Museum, or taking a Felucca boat ride on the Nile. All of these excursions can be added during the tour for an additional fee.
