Once in the city centre, the walk will begin around "Mercado Central". Here, you can try a smoothie made with "Lucuma", another Andean superfood that you are going to love. Some other exotic fruits are also sure to catch your attention, so you can try them too.
Next to Mercado Central is Chinatown, where you can stop to try different bites of Peruvian-Chinese gastronomy.
Discover Congress Palace. On the way, there is also the chance to eat some street meat and potatoes if you want to try them, and you will do it like a Peruvian.
Finish the walk around San Francisco Church to try some "churros" and a traditional Pisco Sour at Cordano Tavern, one of the most traditional places around Government Palace and more than 100 years old.
Before going back to Miraflores, there will be time to take pictures at Lima's "Plaza Mayor" and enjoy the architecture of the Cathedral and Government Palace.
