The itinerary

1
Day 01

Airport pick up – Check in Hotel in Hanoi (Meals: No)

  • Pick up at the airport and then transfer to Hanoi HM Boutique Hotel hotel or similar in Hanoi. 

  • Check-in hotel and free time to see Hanoi City. 

Overnight in Hanoi. Early check-in is available upon your request.

Note: Check-in time at 14.00 P.M

Day 02

Hanoi – Sapa by bus with a short trek to Cat Cat village (meals: B, L, D)

  • 6.30 – 7.00: Pick up from your hotel/stay, get on a big bus and depart for Sapa.

  • 9.30: Follow the highway to Lao Cai city with the first comfort break.

  • 11.00: Second comfort break at Lao Cai city before approaching Sapa.

  • 13.00: Arrive at Sapa Town with colourful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic People.

  • 14.30: A short drive to the gate of Cat Cat village, which is home of Black H’ mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak.

  • Your local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for a photo with the bridge and waterfall.

  • Then, walk uphill for bus pick up to get back to Sapa in the afternoon. Trekking distance is about 2.5 km and it lasts for 2 hours

  • 17.00: Come back to Sapa Town. Have dinner and overnight in a hotel with night activities.

Day 03

Sapa – Hanoi by bus with a long trek Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (meals: B, L)

  • 7.00 – 8.00: Have breakfast at the hotel, check out the room and prepare a light pack for trekking. (Big luggage keep in hotel store)

  • 8.00: A short drive to Y Linh Ho and then trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain.

  • After that, head to Ta Van village– home of the Dzay ethnic people. Trekking distance is about 9 km, and it lasts for 3.5 hours

  • 11:30: The bus picks you up at Ta Van Bridge to Sapa.

  • 12:30 – 13:30: Have lunch in the hotel.

  • 13:30 – 14:45: Relax and enjoy some leisure time on your own, have a shower in the public bathroom in the hotel if you want.

  • 14:45 – 15:00: Meet all group members at the hotel to prepare for Hanoi.

  • 15:30: Get on the bus to go back to Hanoi with two comfort breaks.

  • 21.15: Say goodbye to your hotel/stay.

Day 04

Hanoi – Halong Bay – Lavender Cruise (meal: b,l,d)

  • 8.00 - 8.30 AM: Pick-up at the hotel.

  • 10:00: Have a short break at a stop-over in Hai Duong Province.

  • 12:00 - 12:30: Embark on the Lavender Cruise, followed by a short cruise briefing and enjoy a welcome drink. Check into the cabin.

  • 13:15: Enjoy lunch with sampling regional fresh seafood while cruising on exquisite water, passing Incense Burner island, Fighting Cock islet, Stone Dog. 

  • Lavender Cruise will bring you to explore Ha Long Bay on the most beautiful route, where just a few cruises go through.

  • 15:00-16:30 Do kayaking through the magnificent landscape with Limestone Mountains, visit Titop Island and swim or relax on the sun deck for fantastic views at the Bay.

  • Return to Lavender Cruises and join a sunset party.

  • Pass by Soi Sim Beach, “Rang Dua” Island, to the sleeping area near The Surprising cave.

  • Join our Cooking Class in the restaurant. Let’s see how to make the fresh/fried spring rolls and mix fish sauce.

  • 19:30: Under the magnificent night sky, our set-menu dinner is served with various Vietnamese and Asian foods.

  • Evening activities: Join squid fishing on a boat with our crew. You can enjoy the squid cooked with assistance from our chef. Play cards, karaoke or laze yourself with our happy-hour drinks at the bar.

Day 05

Halong Bay – Hanoi – Check in the hotel in Hanoi (meal: b,l)

  • 06:15: Morning exercises on the Sun deck.

  • 07:15: Have breakfast with coffee, tea and baked goods on board.

  • 08:00: Visit the Surprising Cave (Hang Sung Sot), discovered by the French in 1901. Opened for tourists in 1936, now it is a must-see and a symbol for the geological value of Halong.

  • 09:30: Check out time. Then, relax on the sun deck or inside the restaurant to enjoy the bay’s scenery.

  • 10h15: Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch while cruising back to the pier.

  • 12:00: Check-out of the cruise. Our car will be at your disposal to pick you up. Then, drive back to Hanoi.

  • 16:30: Arrive in Hanoi.

End of the trip.

Day 06

Hanoi – Train Station Transfer – Overnight train to Da Nang (Meal: B)

  • Breakfast is served at the hotel; you have a free day by your plan. Your day trips are available at your request. Please do not hesitate to contact our salesperson for more details.

  • You are free until you transfer to the train station. The train journey will take around 16 hours. 

  • On the train, you can view the beautiful countryside and coastline. 

  • Stay overnight on the train and arrive at the Da Nang train station the following afternoon.

*Notes: Please make sure that you have a full dinner, prepare some snacks and water for your stay on the train because it is pretty challenging to move on the train to buy something.

Day 07

Arrive in Da Nang – Transfer to Hoi An – Check in hotel (Meal: No)

  • Arrive in Da Nang; your driver will pick you up and then transfer you to Hoi An.

  • Check-in the hotel, and then you are accessible in the town.

Day 08

My Son haft day tour (Meal: B,L)

  • 7:45 – 8:30 AM: The bus and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel.

  • 8:30: Leave Hoi An for My Son HolyLand.

  • 9:30: Arrive in My Son.

  • Surrounded by the marvellous mountains, 48km west of Hoi An, My Son was chosen as a religious center, built in the late 4th century under the Cham’s King Bhadravaman. It is a huge religious complex with over 70 towers and temples of different architecture. 

  • Wander through the elaborate carvings and sculptures of the Cham people, tourists are welcomed at the Old Tower of the Cham.

  • Spend 2 hours enjoying and discovering the beauty of the Ancient buildings at the Champa Kingdom with your tour guide.

  • 12:00: Leaving My Son for Cau Lau boat station and taking a boat trip on Thu Bon river, visiting the living of the local people and feeling the fresh air. You will have soft lunch on the boat and see the beautiful views along the river.

  • 13:30: The boat trip will finish at Bach Dang Boat station. Your driver will pick you up at a local restaurant for lunch. Return to your hotel after lunch & End your trip!

Day 09

Check out – Fly to Ho Chi Minh – Check in hotel (Meal: B)

  • Today, you are free in Hoi An Town until your driver comes to pick you up to transfer to Da Nang for the flight to Ho Chi Minh city.

  • Arrive in Ho Chi Minh and transfer to the hotel.

Day 10

Mekong Delta tour: Cai Be floating market - Vinh Long (Meal: B,L)

  • You will be picked up at the hotel between 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM and start a full day to explore the Mekong Delta. For those with just a short time, this trip provides an overview of this typical Vietnam. 

  • On the way, you can see the green paddy fields stretching towards the horizon (3 hours drive).

  • After arrival in Cai Be, you will onboard for an exploration of the lush vegetations of Mekong Delta and the lively floating market.

  • Next, enjoy boat rides on the maze of shady canals to arrive at a local orchard to visit the daily activities at the handicraft villages of local people. 

  • Break time for lunch at the fruit garden.

  • After lunch, take a boat along the Mekong River to Vinh Long – a center of tropical fruit; stop in for a short visit to Vinh Long market. 

  • Go across My Thuan suspension bridge and drop by the Mekong and spend some time there before going back to Saigon.

Day 11

Cu Chi tunnel tour (Meal: B,L)

  • 8:45 – 9:10 AM: Your tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and then drive to Cu Chi, which is located 60km from Ho Chi Minh City. Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti-American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for its Original tunnels system of over 220km and is a popular spot for Vietnamese and foreign visitors.

  • The peacefully rural rice paddy scenery contains ducks and water buffalos swimming in the rivers alongside the road. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destruction, damage and defoliation all over the area caused by bombing and mines when Cu Chi was ''A Free Target Zone''. You will see Cu Chi still has her evidence to prove the fierce battleground there and see the remnants.

  • 12:00: Get on the bus back to Ho Chi Minh city.

  • 14:30 Have lunch in a local restaurant. Drop off at the hotel.

Day 12

Check out – Bus to Phnom Penh – Check in hotel (Meal: B)

  • Have breakfast at the hotel. Then, your guide will pick you up for the bus to Phnom Penh. 

  • Arrive in Phnom Penh, and then your driver will transfer you to the hotel.

*Notes: Bus driving time can be changed due to the traffic condition.

Day 13

Killing Field – Russian market (Meal: B,L)

  • 8:30 AM: Your driver will pick you up from the hotel to visit the Tuol Sleng Prison Museum and the notorious ‘Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, which will give you a deep insight into the painful, bloody rule of the Khmer Rouge. 

  • Lunch at a local restaurant. This afternoon, you will have time to explore Psar Toul Tom Pong, also called the “Russian Market”, where anything and everything is for sale.

  • Later this afternoon, take a one-hour boat cruise on the Mekong river. 

Overnight at a hotel in Phnom Penh.

Day 14

Phnom Penh – Bus to Siem Reap (Meal: B)

  • 7:00 AM: Your driver will pick you up and then transfer you to the bus station for the bus to Siem Reap.

  • 14:00: Arrive in Siem Reap and transfer to the hotel.

Day 15

Angkor Wat – Angkor Thom tour (Meal: B,L)

  • After breakfast, proceed to Angkor Thom Area and discover Angkor Thom Temple South Gate, Bayon Temple, Baphuon Temple, Phimean Akas Temple, Elephants Terrace & Leper King Terrace, Royal Palace, Woman and Man Pond. 

  • Proceed to visit Ta-Prom Temple with your Siem Reap tour guide.

  • After lunch, continue your journey to Angkor Wat Temple- one of the seven greatest architectural wonders of the world, built in between the 9th-13th centuries. 

  • Before you end the tour, make a visit to Bakheng Hill for its beautiful sunset.

  • Have lunch at Ptes Boran Restaurant

*Note: During the visit to the Bakan Tower of Angkor Wat Temple,

  • Visitors are required to wear proper attire, covering shoulders and knees (no shorts, miniskirt or short trousers).

  • Visitors have to be in the queue and wait to climb up the Bakan Tower of Angkor Wat.

  • Children under twelve years old are not allowed to climb up this tower.

  • It will be closed on the Buddhist Sabbath Days, the Buddhist religious days (four days a month).

Day 16

Siem Reap – Departure (Meal: B)

  • Breakfast at the hotel and you are free till our driver comes to pick you up and train      sfer you to the airport. Tour ends.

  • Flight schedule suggestion: the arrival airport for the start of the package is Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, Vietnam, and the package finishes at Siem Reap Airport, Cambodia.

  • The tour starts every day, which means it is always available. You only need to ask for availability if your travel date is within 1 month of your booking date. The package is not available on blackout dates from January 25th, 2020 to January 30th, 2020.

  • Single supplement: US$580/person for the 3-star option. Single supplement: US$695/person for the 4-star option. If you already selected the solo travel option price, you do not have to pay these fees.

  • Extending your trip by staying longer in a city is welcome, and we can book a hotel and another tour for you.

  • Upgrading to better services, including hotels and tours, is welcome, and we can book a hotel and another tour for you.

  • Children policy: 0-4 years old: 50% charge; 5-8 years old: 75% charge (shared bed); 5-8 years old: 85% charge (private bed); 9 years old and above: 100% charge (private bed).
