Itinerary

1. Day 1: Cairo City Highlights

   • Meet your tour guide at the Cairo International Airport and travel to the Egyptian Museum in an air-conditioned vehicle.

   • Learn about Egyptian history at the museum. Accommodating the world’s biggest collection of ancient Egyptian relics, the Egyptian Museum is home to 120,000 Egyptian artefacts. The museum also houses a remarkable display of jewellery including two stunning ivory and gold bracelets from the tomb of Tutankhamen.

   • Make your way to the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque.

   • Admire the Citadel of Salah El-Din.

   • Head to the main city of Cairo and visit the Abu Sirga and Hanging Churches, as well as a nearby synagogue.

     • You may go on an optional evening excursion and dinner on a Nile cruise while enjoying Egyptian folk shows onboard.

   Overnight at Cairo.

2. Day 2: Explore Giza, Saqqara & Memphis

   • Meet your guide at your hotel and set out on the day's journey.

   • Make your way to Giza and see the three great pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Menkaure.

   • Continue to the Great Sphinx, a limestone sculpture of a legendary creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human being. 

   • Visit the Valley Temple nearby.

   • Explore the Step Pyramid of Djoser in Saqqara, the earliest colossal pyramid of Egypt dating back to the 27th century BCE.

   • Begin your transfer to Memphis, the capital of old Egypt, where you will see the statue of Rameses II and the ruins of the former capital.

     • Optionally, attend a sound and light show in Memphis.

   Overnight stay in Cairo.

3. Day 3: Departure

   • Following breakfast, the representative will drive you to the airport for departure.
