The itinerary

1

Day 01

Arrival in Luxor and Hotel Check-in

• Get picked up by an expert Egyptologist from Luxor Airport and transfer to your hotel in a private, comfortable vehicle. The tour administrator will assist you with an effortless check-in procedure and discuss your tour schedule with you, confirming the pick-up and drop-off timings for each day.
• Spend a few relaxing hours in your suite and savour a complimentary dinner at your lodge in Luxor. You will spend the rest of the night relaxing and sleeping.

Day 02

Luxor West Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temple

• Savour a refreshing breakfast, and then your tour guide will pick you up to discover the West Bank.
• Visit the Valley of the Kings, where you will witness the historical tombs of the kings of the New Kingdom.
• Head to Hatshepsut Temple, the only female pharaoh temple in Egypt. This sacred architecture was erected by the daughter of Thutmosis I, the sovereign of Egypt, who ruled for two decades during the 18th Dynasty (1490 - 1469 BCE). Queen Hatshepsut was the only ruling lady who held supremacy over ancient Egypt.
• Then visit the Colossi of Memnon, considered the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. Have lunch at a local Egyptian restaurant.
• Drive towards the majestic Luxor Temple.
• See the sights of some of the greatest instances of reverence in history, including the Karnak Temples, which were constructed as a tribute to the god Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu.
• Proceed back to your hotel in Luxor and relax overnight.

Day 03

Edfu, Kom Ombo and Aswan Discovery

• Check out from your hotel in Luxor after breakfast early in the morning. Then your tour guide will pick you up to enjoy a day tour of Horus Temple in Edfu, where you will see the royal temple devoted to Horus, widely considered the best-maintained temple in Egypt. As per Egyptian beliefs, it is the place where the falcon-headed god Horus avenged the killing of his father, Osiris.
• Then drive to Kom Ombo Temple and explore the Twin Temples of Kom Ombo. The temples give you insight into the falcon-headed god Horus and the crocodile god Sobek, whose carvings embellish both sanctuary halves.
• Arrive in Aswan and have lunch at a local restaurant. Tour the High Dam and Philae Temple, and discover the great city of Aswan.
• Enjoy sailing on the Nile River by motorboat until you reach Agilika Island, where you will visit the Temple of Philae, which was erected during the Greco-Roman period and dedicated to the goddess Isis, mother of the god Horus.
• At the end of the day, transfer to your hotel in Aswan for check-in and an overnight stay.

Day 04

Abu Simbel Excursion and Departure

• 03:30 am: Pick up from your lodge in Aswan in a deluxe, comfortable car.
• Enjoy a carefully arranged tour to Abu Simbel and travel to the famous Two Temples of Abu Simbel. These sanctuaries are regarded as a stunning symbol of ancient Egypt's fame and success, echoing the grandeur and magnificence of the New Kingdom.
• Transfer back and visit the Aswan Dam on the way.
• Finish your day tour with a drive to Aswan Airport for your onward flight to Cairo, or to Aswan Train Station.
