The itinerary

1
Day 01

Arrival in Cairo

  • Our travel representative will meet you at Cairo International Airport and transfer you to your hotel in a company-maintained vehicle. You will be welcomed with a drink at the hotel.
  • Afterward, your tour guide will assist with the check-in procedures and present your travel schedule, confirming the pick-up times for each day. You will spend the rest of the night in Cairo to relax and sleep.

Day 02

Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Memphis and Saqqara

  • You will be picked up from your hotel to begin your tour of the Giza Pyramids, including the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus.
  • Then, proceed to the Great Sphinx, which dates back to the time of Chephren, and visit the Valley Temple.
  • Next, head to the Step Pyramid of Djoser in Saqqara, the oldest major stone structure. Then, go to a restaurant to enjoy a local meal.
  • Later, drive to the magnificent city of Memphis, founded by King Menes and known as the Old Kingdom capital and the heart of ancient Egypt.

Day 03

Egyptian Museum, Islamic Cairo and Coptic Cairo

  • On day 3, enjoy a refreshing breakfast at your lodge in Cairo.
  • Our representative will meet you and guide you on a tour of the ancient Egyptian Museum, home to the treasures of the young ruler Tutankhamun.
  • Afterward, you will be transferred by private air-conditioned vehicle to Islamic Cairo and Coptic Cairo, where you will witness the scenes of Cairo's ancient bazaar, Khan El Khalili.
  • Transfer back to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 04

Flight to Aswan and Philae Temple

  • Have an early breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan.
  • Our Luxor Private Tours representatives will meet you at Aswan International Airport, regardless of your flight timing.
  • You will be transferred to your Nile cruise, where our tour representatives will assist you with the check-in procedures.
  • After that, board the Nile cruise and enjoy lunch.
  • After lunch, take an Aswan boat trip to Agilika Island to see the Temple of Philae, built in the Greco-Roman era and dedicated to the goddess Isis, mother of the god Horus.
  • In the evening, rest on the Nile cruise and enjoy a city tour around Aswan.

Day 05

Abu Simbel, Aswan Dam and Kom Ombo

  • 03:30 am: Pick up from your lodge in Aswan in a deluxe and comfortable car.
  • Enjoy a guided tour to Abu Simbel and visit the famous Two Temples of Abu Simbel. These sanctuaries stand as a stunning symbol of ancient Egypt's fame and success, echoing the grandeur and magnificence of the New Kingdom.
  • Transfer back and visit the Aswan Dam on the way.
  • 01:30 pm: Have lunch on the Nile cruise as it sails to Kom Ombo Temple.
  • Upon arrival, explore the Twin Temples of Kom Ombo. The temples offer insight into the falcon-headed god Horus and the crocodile god Sobek, whose tombstones embellish both halves of the sanctuary.
  • Embark back on the ship for dinner as the cruise moves toward Edfu city.

Day 06

Edfu Temple and Sailing to Luxor

  • Enjoy breakfast on board, then continue to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, the royal temple devoted to Horus and widely regarded as the best-preserved temple in Egypt. According to Egyptian beliefs, this is the place where the falcon-headed god Horus avenged the killing of his father, Osiris.
  • Have lunch on board and continue sailing toward Luxor.
  • Reach Luxor by evening.

Day 07

Luxor West Bank Exploration

  • Have a refreshing breakfast and begin your tour of the West Bank.
  • Visit the Valley of the Kings and witness the historic tombs of the kings of the New Kingdom.
  • Head to Hatshepsut Temple, the only female temple in Egypt. This sacred structure was erected by the daughter of Thutmosis I, Egypt's ruler for two decades during the 18th Dynasty (1490-1469 B.C.).
  • Continue to the Colossi of Memnon, considered the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III.
  • Later, transfer back to the Nile cruise for lunch and time to enjoy the swimming pool.

Day 08

Luxor East Bank and Departure

  • After breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up to discover the majestic Temple of Luxor.
  • Afterward, see one of history's greatest sacred sites, the Karnak Temples, constructed as a tribute to the god Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu.
  • Have lunch in an Egyptian restaurant, then bid farewell to your guide, who will drive you to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo International Airport to continue your journey home.
