The itinerary

1
Day 01

Penang to Cameron Highlands via Tea Country

At 8am, meet and greet at your Penang hotel lobby and depart for Cameron Highlands, a hill resort known for its large tea plantations, farmlands, and scattered aborigine colonies. En route, enjoy a bonus stop at Orangutan Island, subject to availability. Visit a tea plantation and sip tea from an elevated tea cafe while watching the rolling hills below. There will be plenty of opportunities for photos.

Visit the vegetable market to see the various vegetables, fruits, and flowers grown in the Camerons. Continue to a butterfly farm to see various insects and smaller animals that are well cared for. The flower gardens and strawberry farm are also along the way.

Check in to your hotel. Free and easy.

Day 02

Cameron Highlands to Taman Negara

At 7am, depart for Taman Negara, a 130-million-year-old tropical rainforest that is home to endangered tigers, elephants, tapirs, and more. It also contains 14,000 flowering plants, including medicinal, poisonous, and aphrodisiac species.

On arrival, check in to your hotel. Free and easy.

At 7pm, join a Nature Guide for a night jungle walk to spot civet cats, slow loris, snakes, scorpions, owls, and other nocturnal animals that come to the salt lick. Enjoy the jungle ambience and stay relaxed.

3
Day 03

Taman Negara Rainforest Adventure

At 8am, set out on a jungle trek with your Nature Guide to a viewpoint for a stunning view of Gunung Tahan, Malaysia's highest mountain. Then catch a boat as the boatman negotiates the gushing waters to reach an aborigine village. Watch fire-making and blowpipe demonstrations done the native way, and you may also take part in the activities. The aborigines are naive people, and the rainforest is their supermarket. You can interact with them through your Nature Guide. Their colonies are scattered all over Taman Negara and may soon be no more due to rehabilitation.

Your Nature Guide will share facts and taboos of Taman Negara as he leads you to a rainforest waterfall for a cool dip, a therapeutic stress reliever. Return to the hotel. Free and easy.

4
Day 04

Taman Negara to Kuala Lumpur via Batu Caves

At 8am, depart for Kuala Lumpur and, en route, visit the iconic Batu Caves. Climb 272 steps into the temple of a Hindu deity honoured during festivals. Then proceed to Independence Square and stop for photos of colonial landmarks such as the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, St Mary's Cathedral, Jamek Mosque, Old Railway Station, and the National Mosque. Drive to Little India and Chinatown before drop-off at your hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Free and easy.

5
Day 05

Kuala Lumpur to UNESCO-listed Malacca

At 8am, depart for Malacca, a UNESCO Heritage City. Visit the Dutch Stadthuys, once home to the Dutch Governor and now a museum. Then visit A Famosa, a Portuguese-built fort now in ruins. St Paul's Hill houses a chapel that was once home to St Francis Xavier. Visit the famous Jonkers' Street, known for antiquities and souvenirs, and also known as Chinatown. After a walkabout, check in to your hotel. Free and easy. You may revisit Jonkers' Street on your own later.

6
Day 06

Malacca to Johor Bahru and Singapore Drop-off

At 8am, depart for the checkpoint at Johor Bahru, the border town to Singapore. Please ensure all documents are in order. This has already been paid by you.
