The itinerary

Day 01

Prague, Terezín Camp, and Prague's Jewish Quarter

Start the tour with pickup from your hotel by the driver and meet your Terezín tour guide. It is recommended to leave early at 8:00 am to avoid the crowds.
Drive towards Terezín, about 45 minutes north in the direction of the German border. Terezín was psychologically and physically very different from hundreds of other camps.
Learn about the history of Jews in the Czech Republic and their tragic fate while en route.
Visit the Gestapo prison, the Terezín Museum, the Crematorium (closed on Saturdays), the hidden synagogue, and the newly opened exhibition at the Magdeburg Barracks.
See the poignant exhibition of children's drawings created in the Terezín ghetto concentration camp.
Return to Prague to visit the Jewish Quarter, including several famous synagogues, the Jewish Cemetery, and the Jewish Museum.
Behold the region's most extensive collection of beautiful Judaica, including silver, glass, textiles, manuscripts, and other rare, precious objects.
Take a walk through the Old Jewish Cemetery and see the Burial Brotherhood Building.

This is a hectic program in Terezín, and there will be no time to stop for lunch, so it is advised to bring some snacks and drinks. After returning to Prague, you can stop for a quick lunch before heading to the Jewish Quarter. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes.
