Mingun Boat Trip and Mandalay Highlights
Get picked up from your hotel and leave at 08:30 am for Mandalay jetty.
Take the boat to Mingun (about one hour) with your Mingun tour guide.
Take photos of the river, where fishers and agricultural communities live.
Visit Mingun and see landmarks such as the unfinished stupa, the Big Bell (90 tons), the two big lion statues, and Mya Thein Than Phaya.
Return to the jetty and take the same boat back to Mandalay (about 40 minutes).
Have food at a local restaurant.
Visit Mandalay Royal Palace, the last palace of the Myanmar Kingdom, with your Mandalay tour guide.
Proceed to the Golden Palace Monastery, the original royal building from the palace.
Continue to Kuthodaw, recognized by UNESCO as the biggest book in the world.
Finally, visit Mandalay Hill for a panoramic view and a blissful sunset.
Return to your hotel.
