Yehliu, Golden Waterfall, Jiufen, Houtong and Keelung Market
Meet your Taipei tour guide at the Cruise Port and begin the tour.
Visit Yehliu Geopark, where ocean erosion has shaped candle-like rock formations. Do not miss the Queen's Head, a famous natural formation that has become more and more slender through 30 years of erosion.
Continue to the Golden Waterfall, near the Yin-Yang Sea in the Jinguashi Gold Ecological Park region. Its reddish background color comes from the sulfurous soil, and the waterfall contains a high level of toxicity.
Explore Chiufen. Jiufen was a unique, isolated immigrant village in the mountains during the Qing dynasty. This place is also famous for taro balls, fish balls, and rice cakes. You can rest in a tea house and taste the delicacies of Jiufen.
Head towards Houtong Cat Village. Meet the sleeping cats in the plaza - you will find cats everywhere in this small village. You can also experience coal-mining life by going into the tunnel through a standing vehicle.
Saunter through Keelung Miaokou Night Market, famous for its seafood and southern Taiwan flavors. On this island full of street food, we recommend fish balls, crab thick soup, and rice cakes.
