Yehliu Geopark, Ocean World or Ju Ming Museum, and Jinshan Coast
Start the tour by meeting your North Taiwan tour guide and visiting Yehliu Geopark, a unique natural landscape shaped by ocean water and wind erosion, which has given the rocks their candle-like forms. At the geopark, see the Queen's Head, formed through 30 years of erosion and becoming more and more slender.
Choose one of the following two options:
Option 1: Visit Yehliu Ocean World, the first ocean world in Taiwan, where you can see different marine animals and oceanic species.
Watch shows such as the dolphin show or sea lion show.
Try the springboard diving and walk through the ocean tunnel, which takes you on a journey through the amazing ocean world and lets you see how these special creatures live underwater.
Enjoy a planned performance in an auditorium with a capacity of over 3,000, featuring startling high-jumping water presentations held at irregular intervals, along with cute and smart dolphins, mischievous sea lions, and other spectacular performances.
Visit the Sea Animal Exhibition Hall and see the original forms of many sea ecological environments.
Option 2: Visit the Ju Ming Museum, named in memory of world-renowned Taiwanese artist Ju Ming.
Tarry at Dharma Drum Mountain, which, despite its relatively short history, has already become one of Taiwan's four largest Buddhist centres.
Visit the Mysterious Coast in the northeast of Taiwan, located along the coastline of Jinshan District, New Taipei City. This area was once restricted for military purposes. It was opened to the public only a few years ago and became a popular destination among locals after a scene from the 2016 movie "Silence," directed by Martin Scorsese, was filmed here.
