Isolated for millennia from the rest of the world, the beautiful Omo Valley of Ethiopia is home to an exciting mix of many small and distinctive tribal groups. Spend three blissful days in this incredible destination with a local guide. Interact with various tribes, including the Jinka, Ari, Turmi, and Dassenech, and marvel at their uniquely ancient ways of life. You will get to witness a simpler pastoral existence, attend local ceremonies, taste delicious coffee, and camp under the stars.
Itinerary

Day 1: Jinka to Ari
Meet your Omo Valley tour guide at the Jinka airport.
Drive to the Ari villages and spend some time with the Ari people who make up the largest population in the lower Omo valley. Ari women wear skirts from the ensete tree and are experts in pottery. Learn about their lifestyle and traditions.
Overnight stay in Jinka.

Day 2: Mursi Mago National Park
After an early breakfast, begin your drive to Mursi Mago National Park to visit the Mursi village.
Spend some time with th Mursis, one of the many Ethiopian ethnic groups and observe their way of life. They live in low huts made of straw leaves. The women like to wear terracotta on their stretched lower lips and ear lobes.
Proceed to Turmi, where the Hamer people live. Meet and interact with the Turmi Hamer Tribe.
Overnight stay in Turmi.

Day 3: Omorate to Jinka
Begin your day with an early breakfast.
Head out for an excursion to Omorate to visit the Dassanech people, also called the people of the Delta, who live on the northern shore of Lake Turkana.
Drive back to Jinka for lunch and spend some leisure time in the city.
Attend a folkloric dinner in the evening as you taste several national dishes and watch dances of the various ethnic groups of Ethiopia. You will also get to attend a traditional coffee ceremony.
Transfer to the airport for your departure.
