Taipei 101, Longshan Temple and National Palace Museum
Meet your tour guide at a pre-decided location and make your way around the city.
Visit Taipei 101, once the world's tallest building. The tower's architecture is based on the idea of bamboo, a symbol with great meaning in traditional Chinese culture. Head up to the 101 Observatory and enjoy a spectacular view of the Taipei cityscape from 382 metres above the ground.
Set out for the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, an important landmark in Taiwan's democratic progress. It is also home to the National Theater and Concert Hall.
Continue to Longshan Temple in the Wanhua district in western Taipei. It was built in 1738 by Fujian settlers for the safety of the neighbourhood. More than 280 years later, Longshan remains the spiritual heart of Taipei.
Explore the National Palace Museum. Observe cultural relics from the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, and see the famous Jadeite Cabbage, Meat-Shaped Stone, and Mao Gong Ding.
