Day by day
Meet your tour guide at Juanda International Airport and make your way to the Mount Ijen area.
Check in to Ijen View Hotel Bondowoso.
Spend the rest of your day at leisure and prepare for your midnight trek.
Set out for the Paltuding area at 11:30 PM with packed food.
Reach Paltuding at approximately 2:00 AM and pass through the permit post before hiking up to Ijen Peak.
See the famous electric-blue flames of Ijen at the peak.
At dawn, if weather permits, you may walk down to the rim of Ijen Lake. Enjoy the morning view of the lake and walk back to Ijen Peak before returning to Paltuding.
Travel to the Tumpak Sewu area and have lunch at a local restaurant on the way.
Reach Tumpak Sewu around 4:00 PM and relax at the homestay.
Start your day with breakfast at the homestay.
Set out on a Tumpak Sewu adventure around 7:00 AM and admire the magnificent waterfalls.
Head back to your homestay and prepare for your journey to Bromo.
Start your day with an early breakfast.
Make your way to Seruni Point to see a spectacular sunrise.
Proceed to see the spectacular Madakaripura waterfalls.
Return to your hotel and rest for the night.
See a spectacular sunrise from Penanjakan by 4WD Jeep at 3:30 AM.
Continue to the Hill of Love for a photo stop.
Head towards Bromo Crater on foot or by rented horse or pony.
At the crater, you can continue on foot or by rented horse or pony. The trip takes around 25 minutes.
Climb a flight of stairs for 10-15 minutes to reach the rim of Bromo Crater and admire the beautiful view from the peak.
Return to your hotel in Bromo. Have breakfast at 10:30 AM and check out by 11:00 AM.
Conclude your trip with a drop-off in Surabaya.

Altitude temperatures at the top of the volcanoes (2,300 m) can range from +2 to +25 degrees. We therefore highly recommend that you come adequately equipped.
The blue flames at Ijen are dependent on moonlight and rain. We cannot guarantee that they will be visible due to changing weather conditions, but we can guarantee that we will bring you to the viewpoint.
A minimum of two participants is required for this trip.
Pick-up is offered from the bus and train stations in Surabaya, Malang, Probolinggo, Bondowoso, Banyuwangi, or from your hotel around East Java.
The consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited during the trip.
