Visit one of the most beautiful castles in Europe, Peleș Royal Castle. Built by the first king of Romania, Carol I, between 1873 and 1914, the castle features an elegant Neo-Renaissance architectural style combined with Gothic Revival and striking Baroque, Saxon, and Swiss Alpine influences.
Explore Sinaia Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in Romania, located only a few minutes away from Peleș Castle.
Continue to the Prahova Valley, where the Rhein-Azuga Cellars are located, nestled in the majestic Bucegi Mountains.
Arrive at the Rhein-Azuga Cellars and enjoy a traditional 3-course lunch, wine tasting, and a visit to one of the oldest Romanian wine cellars using the traditional Champenoise method to produce sparkling wines. Learn how Romania's most famous sparkling wine is produced, bottled, corked, and labelled. You will also have the opportunity to buy genuine Romanian wines and sparkling wines from the gift shop, if you wish.
In the evening, return to Bucharest, where your guide will drop you off at your hotel.
