Day 01

Alexandria Landmarks by the Mediterranean Sea

Take a 250 km drive from Giza/Cairo.
Arrive in Alexandria and visit the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa. Discovered accidentally in 1900, the catacombs are considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages.
Explore the Serapeum of Alexandria, where Pompey's Pillar, the most significant memorial column in Egypt, is located.
Break for an hour, after which we head to the Citadel of Qaitbay, a 15th-century defensive fortress.
Visit the Library of Alexandria (Bibliotheca Alexandrina).

End the tour at 3 pm and head back to Cairo/Giza by 6 pm.
