Giza Plateau, Saqqara, Memphis, and Dahshur Exploration
- Meet your tour guide at your hotel in Cairo or Giza and begin the tour.
- Visit the Great Pyramid, the oldest and largest pyramid in the Giza complex.
- Make your way to the highest point of the plateau with your Egypt tour guide and enjoy views of the entire pyramid complex.
- Head to the Sphinx Temple and the Sphinx statue.
- Drive around the complex and stop to take photos wherever you like, with a 30-minute camel or horse ride at the Giza Necropolis. Enjoy a one-hour break for lunch or a visit to the local factories.
- Continue to Saqqara to see the Step Pyramid, built as the burial monument of Pharaoh Djoser, along with the Imhotep Museum and the tombs of the noble pharaohs.
- Explore Memphis, the ancient capital city located 5 km from Saqqara, and see the colossal statue of Rames II.
- After Memphis, continue to Dahshur. Admire the Red Pyramid, built by Pharaoh Sneferu, the father of Khufu, for whom the Great Pyramid on the Giza Plateau was built. Visit the Bent Pyramid, the second pyramid built by Sneferu.
