The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Banjarmasin and Sunset River Cruise

Meet your tour guide at Banjarmasin Airport and check in at your hotel.
At 4:30 PM, set out on a sunset cruise by motorboat along a small river in Banjarmasin.
Interact with locals and gain insight into their lifestyle before returning to your accommodation.

Overnight at your hotel.

Day 02

Cempaka Diamond Mines, Nagara and Loksado

Begin your day with an early breakfast at your hotel.
Set out on your 200 km journey to Loksado at 8:30 AM.
On the way, visit the Cempaka diamond mines and learn about the diamond-mining process.
Stop at Kandangan for lunch and continue another 30 km to Nagara, a unique village located on a swamp.
Spot swimming buffaloes at Nagara.
At 3:00 PM, board a motorboat to visit the traditional blacksmiths of Nagara. Learn how locals make swords, knives, and other iron tools. On the way back, you can see the swimming buffaloes again.
Drive the final 50 km to Loksado, a village at the base of the Meratus Mountains.
Check in at a local guesthouse near a natural hot spring and rest for the night.

Day 03

Seven-Hour Meratus Jungle Trek

Begin your day with an early breakfast at your hotel.
Ride up the hills by motorbike at 7:30 AM, passing varied terrain and crossing rivers by suspended wooden bridges.
Start your hike from the last village near the Meratus Mountains and trek for seven hours through the mountainous jungle.
On the way back, enjoy a refreshing swim at a waterfall.
Stay overnight at Meratus Mountain Resort.

Day 04

Amandit Bamboo Rafting, Giant Cave and Return to Banjarmasin

Start your day with an early breakfast and set out for the day's activities at 7:30 AM.
Go bamboo rafting down the wild water rapids of the Amandit River while keeping an eye out for iguanas, monkeys, and unique rainforest birds.
Set out for Banjarmasin on a five-hour drive.
On the way, visit the Giant Cave, well known for its stunning geological formations. Enjoy views of the stalagmites and stalactites.

Day 05

Lokbaintan Floating Market and Departure

Begin your day at 5:00 AM as you board a motorboat and cruise up the Martapura River to Lokbaintan near Banjarmasin.
Reach the floating market and admire the hundreds of canoes on the river. Indulge in some souvenir shopping.
Return to your hotel at 8:30 AM for breakfast and prepare for your transfer to the airport.
