- Marvel at Rabati Castle. Originally established in the 9th century as Lomisa Castle, it was completely rebuilt by the Ottomans in Akhaltsikhe. From the 13th to the end of the 14th centuries, it served as the capital monument of the South Georgian Kingdom.
- Admire the ancient Khertvisi Fortress.
- Experience the serenity of the Vardzia Cave Monastery, dating back to the 12th century. The caves stretch along the cliff for some 500 meters, rise up to 19 tiers, and currently house five monks.
