Giza, Saqqara, and Memphis Pyramids Tour
Start at 8:00 am with pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza to begin your full-day tour.
Visit Giza, where you will see the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos.
Check out the Valley Temple, where the priests mummified the body of King Chephren.
Also enjoy a close-up look at the Sphinx, the legendary guardian that stands beside the huge funerary complex with its lion's body and the head of King Chephren. Time spent here is approximately 2.5 hours.
Have lunch at a local restaurant, with a full meal for each person. Beverages are not included. Time spent here is approximately 1 hour.
Then visit Saqqara, located only 27 km southwest of Cairo, with your Egyptologist tour guide.
Marvel at the Step Pyramid. Built for King Zoser, it is considered an important part of the process of pyramid evolution, from the simple mastaba to its widely known form. Time spent here is approximately 2 hours.
Move on to Memphis City, the ancient capital of Egypt, where the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx are located. This city dates back to 3100 BCE. Time spent here is approximately 1 hour.
At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
