Day by day
Arrive at lunchtime and enjoy a typical Ugandan meal.
In the afternoon, you can join your Ugandan tour guide in milking cows. This is an activity you do not want to miss. Pressing and pulling the cow's udders to get milk out sounds easy, but it requires patience and a lot of skill.
Enjoy some free time in the evening.
After breakfast, learn how to prepare peanut sauce and matoke, which highlight a typical meal here. Cooking is done using firewood.
Learn more about Uganda's coffee and how it is produced.
Join the local women in basketry, weaving mats, tablecloths, and various crafts. Listen to local folk songs and stories as you work with the women.
Witness local cultural entertainment in the evening and relax your mind after a long day's work.
Participate in making traditional banana juice in the morning.
Return for breakfast and later visit a nearby primary school, where you can interact with the pupils and optionally plant a fruit tree in your memory in the school compound. Alternatively, take a walk to Mineera hot springs.
Enjoy a campfire and barbecue in the evening.
