Discover Nepal's geographical diversity and cultural richness on this 10-day journey through Kathmandu, Pokhara, and the Annapurna region. Trek through green valleys, rhododendron forests, and traditional villages as you make your way to Ghorepani, Poon Hill, Tadapani, and Ghandruk. Along the way, enjoy views of Phewa Lake and sweeping Himalayan panoramas featuring Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and other snowcapped peaks. The trip also combines trekking with time in Kathmandu's Thamel and Pokhara's scenic lakeside setting.
Early in the morning, start your trip to Poon Hill (3180 m) to enjoy the sunrise over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Tukuche Peak (6920 m), Nilgiri (6940 m), Varaha Shikhar (7847 m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna South (7219 m), Annapurna III (7855 m), Machhapuchhre (6993 m), Annapurna IV (7525 m), Annapurna II (7937 m), Lamjung Himal (6931 m), and numerous other snowcapped mountain peaks.

Get picked up from the airport, check in to your hotel, and spend time in Kathmandu's Thamel, the city's main tourist area.

Take an early drive or flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914 m). Along the way, enjoy views of green hills, beautiful valleys, and some mountain scenery. Pokhara is regarded as a tourist paradise, rich in both natural and cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, and temples. You can also enjoy views of Phewa Taal (lake) and the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul with your Nepali guide.
Start your trek from Nayapul (1050 m). From Nayapul, trek to Tikhedhunga (1577 m) via Birethanti (1065 m), which takes about four and a half hours.

Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2675 m). Today, you ascend gradually, passing through Ulleri (2070 m), Banthanti, and Magar villages. On the way, enjoy majestic views of Machhapuchhre (6997 m), Huinchuli (6441 m), and Annapurna South (7219 m).

Proceed on the trek from Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3180 m) and then continue to Tadapani (2675 m), covering the distance in about five and a half hours of normal trekking.
Early in the morning, start your trip to Poon Hill (3180 m) to enjoy the sunrise over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Tukuche Peak (6920 m), Nilgiri (6940 m), Varaha Shikhar (7847 m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna South (7219 m), Annapurna III (7855 m), Machhapuchhre (6993 m), Annapurna IV (7525 m), Annapurna II (7937 m), Lamjung Himal (6931 m), and numerous other snowcapped mountain peaks.
Have breakfast at Ghorepani.
Trek to Tadapani (2650 m) through deep forests of rhododendrons, bamboos, and oaks. En route, observe waterfalls, rocks, wild animals, birds, and green valleys.

Comparatively, today is the easiest trek of all. You trek through forests of rhododendron and oak, and along the way you can hear the soothing chirping of birds. This trek is also one of the best alternatives for bird lovers. Ghandruk is a large Gurung village with a handicraft centre and Gurung museum. From the village, you can enjoy good views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna (7455 m), Annapurna III (7755 m), and Fishtail. Ghandruk village is listed as a World Heritage Site.
Stay overnight at Ghandruk.
In the evening, attend a typical Gurung cultural program, which can be organized on demand.

The rest of the trail descends gently down to Dhampus, passing through Pothana village (1900 m).
Drive back to Pokhara from Nayapul.

Enjoy self-paying adventure activities such as paragliding, ziplining, and ultra-light flights, or simply rest in Pokhara.

Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus.
After a normal drive of seven hours, reach Kathmandu.
While driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu, pass through Damauli, Dumre, Muglin, and Kurintar, where Nepal's first cable car operates to Manakamana Temple. You can also choose to fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
