Delhi to Agra for the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Mehtab Bagh
- Meet your chauffeur, who will pick you up from your hotel or place of stay anywhere in Delhi, and drive via the Yamuna Expressway to Agra.
- Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Taj Mahal with your Agra tour guide. Emperor Shah Jahan built it for his beloved wife, Mumtaj Mahal.
- Proceed to Agra Fort. Formerly known as Badalgarh Fort, it was renovated and built by the great Mughal Emperor Akbar. Agra Fort is the former imperial residence of the Mughal Dynasty, located in Agra, India, and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Head to a restaurant to enjoy the different flavours of Agra city during your lunch break.
- Enjoy a Taj Mahal marble demonstration by the descendants of the same Persians who participated in making the Taj Mahal.
- Explore the backside of the Taj Mahal at Mehtab Bagh Sunset Point. Here, you will see the magnificent reflection of the Taj Mahal over the Yamuna River at sunset. This is an optional site to visit, so if you are in a hurry, you can skip it.
Drive back to Delhi by car and get dropped off at your hotel or at the airport for your onward journey or flight back home.
