Day 01

Bang Pa-In Palace, Koh Kerd Village, and Ayutthaya Highlights

Begin with an 8:30 AM pickup from your hotel with your Ayutthaya tour guide, followed by a 1.5-hour drive in a private van to the historic city of Ayutthaya.
Visit Bang Pa-In Royal Palace, the summer palace of the Kings of Thailand. Be impressed by the beautiful grounds and exciting architecture, where you may even notice some European influence.
Enjoy lunch at Koh Kerd village. Explore the village and take part in a dessert cooking workshop with the local villagers.
Tour one of Thailand's most precious historical sites, Ayutthaya Historical Park. This 715-acre area was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991.
Visit Wat Yai Chai Mongkol Temple and Wat Mahathat Temple, where you will see a lone Buddha's head entrapped by the roots of an overgrown banyan tree. This has become a famous tourist attraction.
