Bang Pa-In Palace, Koh Kerd Village, and Ayutthaya Highlights

  • Begin with an 8:30 AM pickup from your hotel with your Ayutthaya tour guide, followed by a 1.5-hour drive in a private van to the historic city of Ayutthaya.
  • Visit Bang Pa-In Royal Palace, the summer palace of the Kings of Thailand. Be impressed by the beautiful grounds and exciting architecture, where you may even notice some European influence.
  • Enjoy lunch at Koh Kerd village. Explore the village and take part in a dessert cooking workshop with the local villagers.
  • Tour one of Thailand's most precious historical sites, Ayutthaya Historical Park. This 715-acre area was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991.
  • Visit Wat Yai Chai Mongkol Temple and Wat Mahathat Temple, where you will see a lone Buddha's head entrapped by the roots of an overgrown banyan tree. This has become a famous tourist attraction.
