The itinerary

Day 01

Hardangerfjord Crossing and Blue Ice Hiking on Folgefonna Glacier

Start in Bergen in the morning with pickup from your hotel at 8:00 am.
Drive for 1.5 hours to Tørvikbygd and cross the Hardangerfjord by ferry to Jondal.
Continue driving up to the glacier, 1200 meters above sea level.
Meet your private Norwegian guide from Folgefonni Breførerlag, receive a welcome briefing with everything you need to know, and put on the necessary gear. The glacier hike lasts about 3-4 hours, but it can be as long as you wish.
Cross the Hardangerfjord from Jondal to Tørvikbygd by ferry and drive back to Bergen.

Remember to wear warm clothes. If you do not have mountain boots or windproof/waterproof clothing and need to borrow them, please let the guide know during the booking process.
The minimum age for participation is 8 years.
Total time length is from 3-6 hours.
Please note that ice conditions, tunnels, etc., change from day to day.
At the beginning of the season, most of the tour is on snow, and at the end of the season, most of the tour is on ice. It melts about 7-8 meters of snow during the summer.
