Hardangerfjord Cruise, Eidfjord, and Vøringsfossen Waterfall
- Meet your guide in Bergen and drive to Hardangerfjord. Stretching for 179 km, it is the second-largest fjord in Norway and the fourth largest in the world. Surrounded by towering cliffs, snow-capped mountains, and blossoming fruit trees, this part of Norway is a masterpiece of nature.
- Admire the natural beauty and breathtaking scenery this area offers from an open-deck catamaran.
- Explore the charming village of Norheimsund - have your camera ready!
- Travel through a landscape full of historic villages, waterfalls, and idyllic orchards with your Norwegian guide. In the distance, you will see the Folgefonna glacier and national park, the third-largest glacier in Norway.
- Stop at Herand, Utne, Lofthus, Kinsarvik, and Ulvik to admire the scenic beauty.
- Reach Eidfjord, an inner branch of the large and beautiful Hardangerfjord. Here, the tour continues by car up 700 meters (2100 ft) to Vøringsfossen waterfall. The waterfall is a spectacular sight to behold. Step forward, if you dare, and watch the raging water hit the valley 145 meters (435 ft) below.
- Cross the Hardangerfjord Bridge and pass by the gorgeous town of Voss on the way back to Bergen.
