Day 01

Tel Aviv to Petra, Wadi Rum, and Aqaba

Ride with your tour guide to Petra.
Upon reaching Petra, walk through the Siq and visit the Obelisk Tomb, Calligraphy, the Treasury, and the Theater. You can also enjoy optional horseback riding. Later, enjoy an authentic Arabic-style lunch at a local restaurant.
Continue your trip toward the south of Aqaba and drive through the unique desert landscape of Wadi Rum. Be amazed by the moonlike scenery of Wadi Rum. The desert is dotted with massive mountains coloured in shades of red, yellow, and orange. Their hues spill over to colour the sand dunes and the horizon of its breathtaking panorama.
Arrive in Aqaba for a short panoramic tour of the city, if time permits.
Return to Israeli territory with assistance from your tour guide and head back to your primary destination in Tel Aviv.

Petra is a historical and archaeological city in the southern Jordanian governorate of Ma'an, famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system. This legendary city is called the "Rose City" due to the colour of the stone out of which it was carved into the walls of a desert canyon over 2,500 years ago.
Border and visa fees are to be paid in cash to the border authorities.
Light drinks at Jordanian meals and tips are not required.
A $70 discount applies for a child under 12 years, against passport registration.
Free of charge for a child up to 2 years old, with visa only for a child holding a foreign passport.
No kosher food is available, but you can request fish in advance.
Do not transfer tefillin or religious signs to Jordan, as there is high sensitivity.
A Spanish or French language guide can be ordered for a surcharge of $80 per order, regardless of the number of people in the same order. A Russian-speaking guide is available on Monday and Friday at no extra charge.
