Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Udzungwa Mountains
Meet and greet your Tanzanian safari guide at the agreed-upon location and drive from Morogoro town to Udzungwa Mountains early in the morning. You will be transported in a 4WD with an open roof. (about 3.5 hours drive)
Stop at Veta Mikumi Restaurant for a refreshing breakfast.
Continue driving to the Udzungwa Mountains with your guide.
Register and go hiking.
Drive back to Veta Mikumi Lodge where you will have lunch. Check into the lodge, relax and have a scrumptious dinner.
Stay overnight.

Day 2: Mikumi Expedition & Back to Morogoro
Drive to Mikumi National Park at 6:00 am (about 30 minutes drive).
Register in the park upon arrival and go for a game drive until 9:00 am.
Have a delicious breakfast in the restaurant inside the park.
Head back for a game drive up to 1:00 pm and then take a break for a relishing lunch.
Continue with the game drive until 3:30 pm. Spot numerous animals like elephants, zebras, impala, eland, kudu, black antelope, baboons, wildebeest, buffaloes and a subspecies of giraffe in the park.
Drive back to Morogoro town and get dropped off, either at your hotel or a bus terminal.
