Trek from Sundarijal to Chisapani
Meet your tour guide at a pre-decided location in Kathmandu.
Set out for Sundarijal after breakfast on an early morning drive of 40-50 minutes.
Begin hiking in Sundarijal. Sundarijal, which translates to "a beautiful waterfall" in Nepali, is the main source of drinking water for residents of Kathmandu Valley.
Reach the army checkpoint after 30 minutes of hiking, where you will show your permits and pay the national park fees.
Follow the trekking trail as it continues to the water dam.
Have lunch at a guest house at the end of the village as you proceed to enter Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park via Mulkharka village in the buffer zone.
Hike up through the beautiful Tamang village and behold stunning views of Kathmandu Valley.
Set out to trek again and keep an eye out for birds and animals.
Continue to the top at 2430 meters via a small pass, then proceed down to Chisapani village.
Stay in Chisapani at a tourist lodge.
