Description
Follow the traditional Everest Base Camp route, start with the thrilling flight from Lukla. Experience a 'Pre-View' of Mt. Everest. Visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple and Swyambhunath, enlisted as UNESCO World Heritage sites. Continue to the high Khumbu valley filled with lush green forest, terrace farms with a backdrop of great hills landscapes and mountain views entering the beautiful Bazaar. Ramble in scenic villages and 'broaden your horizon' as you marvel at sunrises and sunsets and pass monasteries and gurgling rivers en-route the base camp. Enjoy a Nepali cultural dinner show and exchange greetings among friends and with all Nepalese people.
Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Kathmandu & Transfer to Hotel
Upon our arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, meet your tour representative and proceed for check-in at your respective hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
After breakfast, leave for a full day sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley.
Visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple and Swyambhunath, very ancient and essentially enlisted as UNESCO World Heritage sites.
On returning to your hotel, you will have time to explore the local area, have dinner and perhaps take a leisurely stroll through the popular streets.

Day 3: Kathmandu - Lukla - Phakding (2652m)
Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla via an early morning mountain flight. (40 minutes)
Begin your trek from Lukla, with the expert Nepali trekking guide, following a gentle climb up the mountainside on the left bank of Dudh Koshi River.
Take an easy walk for about two hours to Phakding village. However, if interested in additional activities you can take a side trip to a nearby monastery.

Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazzar (3440m)
Follow the trail up north from Phakding to Dudh Koshi valley, meandering through the pines, crossing it twice by small suspension bridges before reaching the village of Monjo, the entrance gate of the Sagarmatha National Park.
Begin with a slight climb to Jhorsalle, the trail passes waterfalls and other culturally and naturally occurring items of interest.
Go on a steep climb up to the beautiful village of Namche Bazaar (3440m) which will take you further to spectacular views and a comfortable place to spend the second night of the trek.

Day 5: Acclimatization day in Namche
Take the day to acclimatize your body to the high altitude of Namche.
Have a full day rest.
You can take short hikes to nearest hills, also enjoy the splendid views of Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Nuptse, Lhotse, Tawche, and Kwangde and so on.

Day 6: Namche Bazaar - Khumjung (3,810 m)
Start climbing up to the famous airstrip at Syangboche.
Continue trekking to Khumjung village which is surrounded by Kondge, Thamserku and the sacred Khumbila mountains.
Visit the Edmund Hillary School and Khumjung Monastery.
Overnight stay in Khumjung.

Day 7: Khumjung - Tengboche (3,870m)
Descend to Dudhkoshi River and pass through beautiful villages on the way.
Walk on a forest trail which will take you to a riverbed.
Ascend for around two more hours through pine and fir forests to reach a small village of Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Gumba.
Tour the Gumba and enjoy a panoramic view of the Himalayas, including Tawache, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Everest.
Overnight in Tengboche.

Day 8: Tengboche - Kyangjuma (3,570m)
From Tengboche, a steep descent of about 500m will take you through rhododendron bushes and fir trees to the Dudh Koshi River.
Continue on your trail and pass Tashinga and Sansa villages before reaching Kyangjuma. You will get to appreciate spectacular views of Ama-Dablam, Thamserku, Nuptse, Lhotse and Everest.
Overnight in Kyangjuma.

Day 10: Kyangjuma - Monjo (2,840m)
Reach Namche Bazaar first then continue to Monjo. The trail clings to the steep wooded slope beyond Kyangjuma, winding through several bends.
Keep an eye for wildlife such as mountain goats, snow leopards, colourful pheasants, etc. when passing through a forest trail.
Go on a steep descent that guides you to a bridge over the Dudh Koshi River.
Cross the river twice at separate locations before reaching Monjo.

Day 10: Monjo to Lukla
Take the trail that descends steeply before it cuts up to the airstrip in Chauri Kharka.
Pass Phakding and Chopling villages on the way. The climb from Chauri Kharka is the final climb of the trek. As the local staff, you met in Lukla will not be accompanying you to Kathmandu, today is last day you celebrate your accomplishment together.
Overnight in Lukla.

Day 11: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu
Take a flight back to Kathmandu. (1 hour)
Spend your last night in Nepal enjoying a Nepali cultural dinner show and exchanging greetings among friends and with all Nepalese people.
You can buy some souvenirs.

Day 12: Kathmandu Free Day.
Enjoy a free day in Kathmandu valley. You are free to do some shopping and enjoy the local streets and the life of people.
Go on a relaxing walk in the streets and view the normal lives of the locals. Also, you can buy some memories and gifts back to your home.
Full day leisure can be accompanied by some entertainment and sound time in the hotel.

Day 13: Final Departure
Proceed to the International airport to catch your flight back home.
