Itinerary

1. Day 1: Depart from Surabaya, Malang, or Juanda airport

   • Get picked up by your Indonesian tour guide from Surabaya, Malang, or the Juanda International Airport.

   • Head to your hotel in Cemoro Lawang near Mount Bromo.

   • Upon arrival in the hotel, relax for a while.

   • Head to explore the Cemoro Lawang area to see the farms, the local Tenggernese people & roam around for a bit.

   • Return to the hotel.

2. Day 2: Mount Bromo Sunrise & Hiking the Volcano

   • Start your day early by hopping into a 4WD Jeep.

   • Experience the bumpy road to Mount Pananjakan or Kingkong Hill, which is the best viewpoint to enjoy a perfect scenario of the famous Bromo sunrise.

   • Drive down the hill & pass the sea sand area due to the eruption from Mount Bromo.

   • Get ready for a 40-minute trek to the top of the volcano.

   • Once you reach the top, see an active smoking crater, caldera, and the mountain views of Mount Batok & the highest mountain in Java, Semeru.

   • Visit the Hindu Temple from the ancient Majapahit Kingdom.

   • Have breakfast.

   • Continue to the Ijen crater in Bondowoso city with a stopover for lunch.

   • Upon arrival, check in to a hotel.

3. Day 3: Hiking to Ijen Crater

   • Today, get up early in the morning.

   • Start your trip by driving to the Paltuding area.

   • Upon arrival, start your trek to the Ijen crater.

   • Here, witness the dazzling blue flames.

   • Get back to Paltuding.

   • Return to Surabaya, Malang, or Ketapang port if you want to visit the Bali Islands.
