Day 01

Corinth Canal and Ancient Theatre of Epidavros

Meet your Greek tour guide at your hotel and drive to the Corinth Canal, which is a wonder to behold. If you are on the National Road (the one with the tolls), you may cross the canal without even knowing it.
Get out of the car and walk down the old road across the bridge to admire the canal and take some great pictures.

Proceed to Epidavros, one of the most beautiful archaeological sites in all of Greece.
Head to the world-famous 3rd-century theatre, where the tragedies of Aeschylus, Sophocles, and Euripides were performed until the 4th century BC. These performances resumed in 1955 and still take place during the Epidavros festival. The theatre is perhaps the most acoustically perfect in all of Greece.
