3-Day Sundarbans Wildlife Tour from Kolkata with Boat Stay

• Start at 7 am from Kolkata and reach Gadkhali by 11 am, with breakfast on the way.

• Board the motorboat and head straight for Sajnekhali Watch Tower, which will take 2 hours to reach.

• Have lunch on the boat.

• Visit the Mangrove Interpretation Centre and watch tower, where many tigers have been sighted in the past.

• Explore the buffer forest by boat for birdwatching, or visit a nearby village to experience the livelihood of the villagers.

• Meet people such as honey collectors, fishermen, and survivors of tiger attacks. It is very interesting to learn about their livelihood, which is very different from ours.

• Options of a country boat ride and fishing in the local pond are also available, according to personal preferences.

• Spend the night on the motorboat. This is a unique and fun experience.

Dinner will be served on the boat.

• Start at sunrise from Sajnekhali and obtain full-day permission to visit the tiger reserve.

• Have breakfast on the boat.

• Cruise through creeks and rivers in the core tourism areas of the reserve all day and have lunch on the boat.

• Visit at least two watchtowers: Sudhannyakhali and Dobanki.

Dinner and an overnight stay will be on the boat if the team size is below ten, or in a standard resort at our cost on a sharing basis.

Arrangements can be made for local folk music performances in the evening.

• Start at sunrise and cruise through the buffer forest.

• Visit Gosaba, the biggest and most important local market in the Sundarbans, Hamilton's bungalow, and another bungalow, Beacon Bungalow, where the great Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore once stayed.

• Have lunch and board the car at Gadkhali to head back to Kolkata.
