Gobustan Museum, Petroglyphs and Mud Volcanoes
- Get picked up from your place early in the morning and hear exciting stories about the city on the way.
- Arrive at Gobustan National Park and tour the modern, state-of-the-art museum, then marvel at the petroglyphs of Gobustan. These are among the oldest things you may ever see in your life.
- Head to the mud volcanoes and, en route, see the 1st-century Roman inscription left there by the army of Emperor Domitianus.
- Take an offbeat route into the mountains to reach the volcanoes. Once here, you will be surprised by the "lunar" landscape and the icy volcanoes.
- Explore the territory, take pictures, and observe bubbles of mud coming out from the ground.
Head back to the city.
