Itinerary

1. Day 1: Airport to Kandy

   • Get picked up by your English-speaking Kandy chauffeur from the airport and head to the hill capital hotel.
   • If time permits, visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, ride a boat on the Kandy Lake, and witness a beautiful cultural dance in the evening. 
   • Check in to the hotel.

2. Day 2: Kandy

   • Start your day by having a lovely breakfast.
   • Visit the Peradeniya Botanical Garden.
   • From there, head to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha and the Silk Garden and enjoy a herbal ayurvedic body massage. 
   • In the evening, enjoy a walking tour of the city.
   • Head back to the hotel.

3. Day 3: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

   • After breakfast, proceed to Nuwara Eliya. The drive will take around two and a half hours through the scenic countryside. 
   • In the afternoon, take a tour of the colonial town of Nuwara Eliya and have a brief insight into how the world-famous Ceylon Tea is created at a tea factory and plantation site.

4. Day 4: Nuwara Eliya - Horton Plains

   • You will leave the mountain region and immerse yourself in a different world close to Nuwara Eliya called Horton Plains, Sri Lanka's highest and most isolated plateau. Nature lovers can revel in the vast grassy plains.
   • Start early morning and drive a jeep/van to Horton Plains for trekking in the World's End.
   • Check in to the hotel and have dinner.

5. Day 5: Nuwara Eliya to Ella

   • Today, get ready for your train journey to Ella.
   • Upon arrival, you will be picked up by your Ella tour guide and head to Little Adams Peak, 9 Arch Bridge, and Ravana Waterfalls.
   • Check in to a hotel.

6. Day 6: Ella to Colombo

   • After having breakfast, leave for Colombo and, en-route, visit Kajugama.
   • Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.
   • If time permits, go for a quick Colombo city tour and go shopping.
   • Head back to the hotel.

7. Day 7: Colombo Airport

   • After breakfast, proceed to the airport for your flight.
