  • Begin the tour by visiting sites in chronological order, following the events that took place in Warsaw during the Second World War.
  • Travel to Saska Kępa District, the area closest to the heart of Warsaw that German troops reached before the city surrendered.
  • Stand in the place where Hitler stood when the city was forced to endure a victory parade after its defeat at the hands of German troops.
  • Continue to Wawer, where the first significant act of German terror took place. At Christmas in 1939, 107 Polish civilians were massacred here.
  • Step into the remains of the 18 km Jewish ghetto wall, built when Jewish citizens were forcibly separated from the rest of society and confined to the "Jüdischer Wohnbezirk".
