Itinerary

1. Day 1: Tehran

   • Arrive at IKI airport and transfer to hotel to take rest.
   • Visit the Milad Tower.
   • Eat dinner in Darband.

   Overnight in Tehran. (Hotel)

2. Day 2: Qazvin

   • Visit Golestan Palace (UNESCO world heritage site, the palace of Qajar kings), Iran National Museum (with salt mummy, ancient & historical items), and Jewelry Museum (one of the biggest Diamonds in the world [Kuh’e nur] & throne of Nadershah).
   • After lunch, visit the Glass & Ceramic Museum (ancient items in one of the beautiful historical Houses of Tehran).
   • Hit the road to Qazvin and reach in 2 hours. (one of the Iran capitals in the Islamic golden age). 
   • Eat dinner at the local restaurant or hotel.

3. Day 3: Qazvin

   • See the Iranian architecture by visiting Qazvin Chehel Soutun (historical garden), Qazvin bazaar, Iran’s first street and the old water reservoir.
   • After lunch, visit one of the most beautiful historical houses with a magical story.
   • Visit the Russian church, one of the smallest churches in the world.
   • Enjoy dinner at the local restaurant or hotel.

4. Day 4: Zanjan

   • Take the road to Zanjan.
   • On the way, visit Dragon temple. 
   • Head to Soltaniye, which takes 1.5 hours & visit Soltaniyeh Dome (UNESCO world heritage site). 
   • Arrive in Zanjan and visit Zanjan Museum and Zanjan Bazaar.
   • Relish dinner at the local restaurant or hotel.

5. Day 5: Ardabil

   • Drive to Ardabil. 
   • On the way, visit Behestan Castel & the colour mountains. 
   • Upon arrival at Ardabil, have lunch and visit Sheikh Safi tomb (UNESCO world heritage site).
   • Eat dinner at the local restaurant or hotel.

6. Day 6: Tabriz

   • Drive to Tabriz.
   • Visit Tabriz Bazaar, the oldest bazaar in Iran. (UNESCO world heritage site).
   • After lunch, visit Tabriz Jame mosque and Mashrute House (museum of Mashrute revolution).
   • Enjoy dinner at the local restaurant or hotel.

7. Day 7: Kandovan

   • Drive to Jolfa.
   • After passing 16 km, visit Saint Stephanus church (UNESCO world heritage site).
   • Return to Tabriz and visit Kaboud Mosque.
   • Drive to Kandovan village.
   • Break for dinner at the local hotel.

8. Day 8: Takab

   • Visit Kandovan village (hand-made village of stone). 
   • Drive to Takhte-Soleyman (UNESCO world heritage site).

9. Day 9: Hamedan

   • Drive to Hamedan (the ancient capital of Iran).
   • Visit Ganjname (ancient relief) and Avicenna tomb (most excellent medicine in the Islamic golden age).
   • Relax with dinner at the local restaurant or hotel.

10. Day 10: Kermanshah

    • Drive to Kermanshah.
    • On the way, visit Anahita Temple (ancient Zoroastrian temple). 
    • Head to Bistun ancient reliefs (UNESCO world heritage site).
    • Eat dinner at the local restaurant or hotel.

11. Day 11: Tehran

    • Visit Taghe Bostan (Sasaneid reliefs & monuments) and Takiye Moaven Almolk (Qajarian residence).
