3-Day Temple Tour to Edfu and Aswan from Luxor with Abu Simbel

Meet your tour guide at a pre-decided location in Luxor at 7:00 a.m. and set out on a two-hour drive to Edfu Temple.

Continue to the Temple of Kom Ombo, located around 35 km from Aswan. This unique double temple is dedicated to two sets of gods, Sobek and Haroeris, and dates back to the 2nd century B.C.E. The nearby Crocodile Museum houses some of the three hundred crocodile mummies discovered around the temple.

Travel to your hotel in Aswan and rest for the night.

Spend a couple of hours exploring the temple site. Abu Simbel is over three thousand years old and was built by Pharaoh Rameses II as a monument to himself. Its entrance is flanked by four enormous statues of the pharaoh seated on his throne. The temple was reconstructed in its present location to protect it during the construction of the Aswan High Dam and reservoir.
