Day 01

Valladolid, Mayan Community, Cenote and Chichen Itza

  • Meet your Mexican tour guide at the agreed-upon location and ride to Valladolid, a colonial Mexican city founded by the Spaniards in 1543.

  • Visit one Mayan community surrounding Chichen Itza - Ebtun, Cuncunul, Kaua, Xcalacoop, or Piste. You will get to see the local community's produce from the Yucatán geographical area, including vanilla, paper, bee honey, chocolate, and more.

  • Have a delicious homemade Mexican lunch. Let the Mexican guide know if you are vegan or vegetarian.

  • Enjoy a refreshing swim in one of their cenotes (sacred wells).

  • End the day with a visit to Chichen Itza. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and also one of the 7 Wonders of the World.
