Day 01

Irrawaddy River Cruise from Bagan to Mandalay

• Get picked up from the lobby of your hotel, airport, or train station by your Bagan tour guide at 4:30 AM.
• Make your way to the Bagan jetty for an early morning departure and settle into the climate-controlled teakwood cabin.
• If you have opted for a cruise with meals, enjoy breakfast on the upper deck, including fruit juice, coffee, and tea.
• Make the first stop at Lekkapin, a traditional waterside village, where you will see traditional handicrafts, visit local houses, and meet the villagers.
• After lunch, which will be served on the upper deck, enjoy a demonstration by the crew about Burmese dress and makeup. You are welcome to participate.
• In the evening, watch the sunset hues illuminate the river as you approach Mandalay. Sip a cocktail on the final stretch.
• Conclude the Irrawaddy cruise at the Mandalay jetty.
