The itinerary

Day 01

Yangon to Bago and Golden Rock Pagoda

Get picked up from Yangon and, on the way, stop in Bago city. Visit some of the city's famous sites.
Continue to Golden Rock Pagoda. Golden Rock Pagoda is one of Asia's most important pilgrimage sites and a top tourist destination in Myanmar.

Day 02

Kinmon Base Camp to Golden Rock Pagoda

After breakfast, get picked up by your tour guide from the hotel and drive to Kinmon Base Camp, located at the foot of Mount Kyaiktiyo.
Arrive at the base camp and transfer to a local truck, which will drive you to a terminal near the Golden Rock Pagoda. The pagoda is nestled on a mountain 3,615 feet above sea level and was built more than 2,500 years ago. It sits atop a massive granite-shaped boulder balanced on the mountain. It has remained in place through earthquakes without falling from the peak. Locals believe it has not fallen because of the power of the hair relic.
