Day 01

Pindaya Caves, Thitaipin Village and Inle Lake

Start your cave tour with a walk through Shwe Oo Min Pagoda, which attracts visitors every year. At the entrance, two large spiders stand guard.
See thousands of Buddha images from different eras inside the limestone Pindaya Cave with your Burmese guide.
Observe traditional Shan paper and umbrella production.
Visit Thitaipin village to watch the process of cheroot-making.
From the village, drive down a valley to Nyaungshwe, located on the edge of Inle Lake.
From there, board a private local boat to reach your hotel. Inle Lake is simply magical. At 1,000 metres above sea level, the temperature is pleasant. Its calm waters are dotted with Intha stilt houses, floating vegetable gardens, and fishing canoes, all set against the backdrop of the beautiful Shan Hills.
