• Meet your guide at your hotel and head to Inle Lake.
• Explore the revered Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, a notable Buddhist pagoda on the lake. Marvel at the five small gilded images of Buddha it houses, which are entirely covered in gold leaf.
• Visit Nga Hpe Kyang Monastery, also known as the Jumping Cat Monastery, on the west side of the lake. It earned this name because the cats that once lived here were trained to leap through hoops during the quiet hours between scripture recitals.
• Enjoy lunch at one of the best local restaurants and sample some fresh fish.
• Head to local workshops of silversmiths, silk weavers, cigar makers, and boat builders to watch them at work.
• Mingle with the local Inthar people, visit floating gardens, and pass by villages built entirely on the lake.
• Get dropped off at your hotel as the sun begins to set, at around 5 pm.
