Mandalay Pagodas, Monastery Life and Sunset at Mandalay Hill
- Get picked up by your Mandalay tour guide from the hotel at 8:00 am and head straight to Mahamuni Buddha Temple.
- Then, visit Mahagandayon Monastery, one of the biggest monastic schools for more than one thousand educated Buddhist monks, to observe their daily life.
- Head to U Bein Bridge in Amarapura, the world's longest teakwood bridge.
- Attend the King Galon Gold Leaf Workshop to understand the process of making gold leaves, then visit the historic Shwenandaw Monastery, a finely carved wooden monastery that once formed part of the Mandalay Royal Palace.
- From there, visit Kuthodaw Pagoda to witness the world's largest book, made up of 729 stone tablets of the Buddhist Pali Canon.
- In the afternoon, visit Kyauktawgyi Pagoda, known for its enormous Buddha image made from a single piece of white marble.
- Later in the evening, take your time to relax at Mandalay Hill and enjoy the aesthetic sunset.
- Enjoy the magnificent view of Mandalay city and its countryside.
- After taking in the amazing view, head back to the hotel.
