The itinerary

Day 01

Transfer from Bali to Ketapang Port

We start from Bali and drive you to Gilimanuk to get closer to Java.
After the 45-minute ferry crossing, we will arrive at Ketapang Port.
Head to the hotel and take some rest.

Day 02

Mt Ijen Hike and Kalibaru Plantation Drive

Early in the morning, after coffee or tea, we drive you by 4WD to Paltuding Ranger Park at Mt Ijen.
Start the 1.5-hour hike to the rim of Ijen Crater.
Rest at Pondok Bunder, located at about 2,214 metres.
Witness sulfur miners carrying sulfur in bamboo buckets weighing up to 70 kg up and down the crater, and view the bright blue flame from the sulfur. A beautiful sunrise can also be seen from this spot.
Hike down the mountain and enjoy gorgeous views and panoramas.
Drive back to the hotel, passing the huge coffee and cocoa plantations of Kalibaru.
