Day 01

Batubulan, Batuan, Kintamani and Ubud Tour

  • Meet your guide at the hotel and travel to Batubulan village to watch the famous Barong and Keris Dance cultural show. The performance lasts for one hour and is followed by a storytelling session about the eternal fight between God and evil spirits.

  • Visit a traditional hand-weaving and Batik painting workshop, followed by a visit to Celuk village, where you will see artistic traditional gold and silver craftsmanship.

  • Visit the classic temple of Batuan village, built in 1020 AD. The temple pays homage to the Hindu Trinity and is rich in Balinese ornaments. Its roof is made from long grass and black fibres of palm trees.

  • Drive to the hill of Kintamani, passing through a woodcarving village and stopping to visit a local woodcarver family and marvel at their creations.

  • Enjoy the view of the semi-active volcano and its stunning crater lake during lunch at the hill of Kintamani.

  • Taste local Balinese coffee while enjoying views of the rice terraces at Tegalalang village.

  • Head to Ubud to visit the Monkey Forest and the Monkey Temple.
